DJ’s Garage was founded in 2023 with a simple purpose. Create a place where people feel respected, heard and taken care of. A place where real skill meets genuine humanity. At the center of the shop is Dan Laporte, a licensed mechanic with more than a decade of hands on experience and a lifetime of curiosity. Before turning his full attention to the garage, Dan built a background in coaching, personal training and mental health work. He understands people as well as he understands engines, and that combination sets the tone for everything we do.

Dan’s approach is rooted in compassion and clarity. He believes that a great mechanic does more than fix problems. A great mechanic listens, educates and empowers. Whether he is diagnosing a complex issue or explaining a simple repair, Dan leads with patience and respect. His spiritual, grounded nature gives DJ’s Garage a calm and steady atmosphere that customers feel the moment they walk through the door. It is rare to find someone who can tune a suspension with precision and also talk to you about mindset, balance and personal growth, but that is exactly who Dan is.

At the front desk you will always find Jen Laporte, the bright, welcoming face that makes every visit feel personal. Jen brings warmth, organization and genuine care into the heart of the customer experience. She makes sure every person is greeted with kindness, every question is answered and every interaction feels effortless. Together, Dan and Jen have created more than a garage. They have built a place that feels like family.

The team behind the shop continues to grow and evolve, bringing in new talent and new energy as the garage expands. Dan leads the crew with the same values he lives by. Honesty, compassion, continuous improvement and pride in the work. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and professional. The focus is always on doing the job right, communicating clearly and treating every vehicle like it belongs to someone they personally care about.
